THE OSLA IS A SCHOOL THAT FOCUSES ON PLAY. SEEING AND HEARING WHAT OTHER STUDENTS ARE UP TO DRIVES CURIOSITY, WHICH BOOSTS THEIR EXCITEMENT TO LEARN. THROUGH LEARNING, DISCOVERY, AND INTERACTION, STUDENTS  CAN CREATE ENDLESS AMOUNT OF INNOVATION.

WHILE THERE ARE STILL GRADE LEVELS, OSLA ENCOURAGES A FREE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AMONGST ALL STUDENTS AND FACULTY. WITH THE CURRICULUM AS IS, STUDENTS WOULD TAKE BASIC CLASSES TO GRADUATE FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THE DAY [WHICH WILL CHANGE EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK] AND FOLLOWED BY A LAB FROM WHAT THEY LEARNED THAT DAY. FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE DAY, ALL GRADE LEVELS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN TOGETHER WITH THE INTEREST GROUP CLASSES. THERE IS NO HIERARCHY IN OSLA BECAUSE STARTING IN 10TH GRADE, STUDENTS TAKE A LIBERAL COURSE TO BE ABLE TO TEACH THE STUDENTS. IN 11TH GRADE, STUDENTS BECOME A TA FOR ANY OF THE INTEREST GROUPS THAT THEY DESIRE. IN 12TH GRADE, STUDENTS DEMONSTRATE TO ALL GRADE LEVELS HOW THE BASIC CLASSES CORRELATE WITH THE INTEREST GROUPS IN ORDER TO SHOW THAT THE STUDENTS ARE NOT WASTING THEIR TIME LEARNING WHILE PLAYING.
