You can place an image here – an aspirational image, an image of the site, or whatever you like.   You can also leave it blank to introduce some white space.

Write your revised declarative project pitch here – see my comments to your first draft.  Tell us what this place is.  With 2-3 succinct sentences, you can position the reader to understand what this place is.  Inspire us.

Guiding Principles

Ideally each guiding principle can be connected to a concept diagram which will require reformatting this section.

  • Guiding principles provide a manifesto of what your project should do
  • They should address a range / scales of issues in your project
  • Site / Masterplanning issues should be present
  • The perception the form provides can be addressed as a guiding principle
  • The approach to the program organization and how it influences interaction certainly should be addressed.
  • Use the guiding principles to capture the number of issues we have discussed in the studio

Instead of using headings which group like kinds of information – see Final Portfolio_Linear template – this gives an example of how you can integrate content using the 4 column width format.  For example, diagrams could be at left, and plans could be used above.  I moved the text over here, because I noticed my single width column was shorter than the 3/4 images at right.  But please remember, it is the pixel width that is critical.

This diagram is intended to integrate smaller content at right, perhaps diagrams or process model photos, with focus on a slider at left, say final mass/glass model shots.  Note how I swapped the large image focus here from right to left to break up the monotony of the same 1/4 + 3/4 layout.  Note the image carousel is used here to create a slider.  Sliders draw the eye in due to the moving images.  PLEASE DO NOT OVERUSE THE SLIDER!!!  Note you can also use the image carousel without automatically setting to autoplay, but instead require the user to click to the next image.  Make sure pixel size is identical in width and height when using the image carousel.

Getting fancy here.  Note how I am nesting two single images in the same area of the two column layout.  This allows me to have the larger half page layout at left, a shorter half page layout above, coordinated with two smaller images below.   To do this, add an element (plus sign) and choose Row, and then you can make a two column grid aginside the two column grid.
